My back

I went to the doctor again today because a nerve near my back is really hurting. He says it is my sciatic nerve. He had given me trigger point injections for my back pain that I had 2 years ago and that had kept me pain free until now. But this last month I have developed this new pain with my nerve which I have never had before. He did not have good news for me...he says since my MRI of 2 years ago was so bad, it looks like my back is getting worse and trigger point injections are not an option for this new symptom. He ordered another MRI and ex rays. He said I might need surgery if something shows something on the MRI and ex rays...I couldn't hear much of anything he said after the word surgery, my eyes were starting to well up and I was feeling a little overwhelmed....I had the ex rays today and the soonest they can do the MRI is wednesday because that is when the MRI machine comes here to this small town. So I will know more after Wednesday. I guess I could see if I could get the MRI done in cheyenne sooner than that....anyway the prospect of surgery on my spine is very depressing...as is the news that my last MRI was very bad. No one told me in that way before about my MRI that I had so I didn't realize it was that bad. The exact word he used to describe the MRI of my back actually was "nasty"

Bull snake in our car Engine

Here is a picture of the huge bull snake that went up into our car engine area. Mr. Sexton was so kind to come over with his snake catcher and caught it for us. The snake is alive and well, as Mr. Sexton and Michael Sower took it and released it into a field pretty far down the road.

House Warming

Cindy and Kendall had their house warming party Saturday. All their hard work paid off nicely! Was a great time and everything looked so nice! What a great house and yard! And was nice that all our family was able to make it. This was the only picture I managed to get. Me and my favorite son, Brian.

Eating out

We decided to go to burger king Sunday afternoon and eat in the play area so Adrianna Layla and Aidan could play and burn off their excess energy, it turned out to be great cause the kids were very good and enjoyed playing, while us adults were able to carry on a conversation and not have to worry about the kids. I was wishing we would have brought a game along to play too!

Plant PIcnic

Amber, Greg, Adrianna, Karen, Cindy, Layla and Aidan were all able to come and join Ken and I at the Plant Picnic this year.
From these pictures it looks like we were the only people there, but actually there was a never ending line for the lunch! We all had fun, although not nearly the fun we used to have at the diamond guest ranch the last several years....We were really spoiled for the all years it was held at the Diamond!.....Here is Ken and Janis with their nice wide spectrum hats on.....

After going to a Mary Kay party with Karen and Cindy Monday evening, I stayed the night at Karens. On Tuesday morning Cindy and babies came to my house to spend a couple days with us. Here are some pictures from the park, with Layla and Aidan enjoying the new playground equipment.
