Adrianna Grace

Greg Amber and little Adrianna Grace are home now and this is going to be a time of adjustment for all. It is all new and different ...The dogs are very curious. Greg held them up to sniff her, they licked her little feet. We didnt want to lock them up in their kennels but found it necessary so Amber can sit and nurse the baby. They whinned alot but are now quiet. Amber is nursing and trying to settle baby down. She is a little fussy right now. Greg looked really beat when they arrived home today so he is sleeping . Amber mentioned now she is feeling really tired also so she is lying down with Adrianna as she nurses her. I am glad I can be here to help at whatever they need me to do. This morning before Amber and Greg arrived home, I had my own scary thing happen. I had let the 4 dogs out in the back yard, when after a bit I couldnt see them I went out thinking they were on one side or other of the house as they like to do that. I saw chloe and abby and they were barking near the gate which isnt unusual as kids go across that field next to their house. but then i could not find missy or molly! I looked on both sides of the house, and then i was in a panic! I went over to the gate and to my horror-it was open! just enough for them to squeeze out. i put the other two , chloe and abby inside and then i ran out the gate calling molly! missy! i ran to the front yard but i still could not find them! i was so upset but thankfully after a what seemed a long time but only a minute maybe i saw them! they were together at that picnic table there by the road. fortunately they had found something to smell and had stopped (a pile of poop!) I ran and was so aggressively trying to grab them both that that i scared molly and she squeeled. but i was afraid of her running away. so i grabbed one under each arm and got them back into the yard. what a relief! the gate had come unlatched somehow. i made sure it was latched securely and then also put a heavy planter bucket against it. so happy they stayed together and hadnt gotten far away :)
