new baby

I am not sure who put the bee in whos bonnet, but for the last couple of weeks ken and I have been looking to get a playmate for abby. We looked at a lot of ads and alot of pictures of chi's for sale. Finally we decided to drive to see some in broomfield. I am just so sorry Amber and Greg were gone, because our meeting place was the high school right behind their house! In fact after we picked up our puppy, we took abby and missy over to their house and put them in their backyard so they could go potty! I wonder what the neighbors who might have known they were gone thought of this? WE wondered if the police would be pulling up any minute to check! hehe, but that didn't happen thank goodness. anyway getting back to the puppy, they had one black male, one creme female, one white female, and then my heart melted as I looked at the fawn and white female! she is the tinyiest little thing I have ever seen. and such a cute face. she looks sorta like a minature Abby. well, it didn't take ken and I long to decide and the little fawn and white puppy came home with us. But last night after we got home, I was having some huge doubts. I thought what have I done? this puppy is so tiny! actually my fears were, she is too fragile. she so much littlier then abby even.we can barely walk for fear we will step on her! and I thought why do I want to go through all this puppy work again! I didn't get any sleep at all as I had to hold her all night or she would cry. if i have her in the kennel at night, the girl we bought her from said I should have a heating pad under her kennel till she is six months old. (she is 10 weeks old by the way) as she could get too cold. she also said to put honey in her water until 6 months to prevent hypoglycemia which I guess can possibly happen in tiny dogs. I dont know just seems like she is too tiny, how will she ever go up and down stairs to go outside? ok, but then this morning as I looked at her sweet face and watched her run around looking as healthy as ever, my fears abated somewhat and I already love her so much :) although the girl said she probably wont get much bigger, ken thinks her paws look big as though she might get bigger. and abby did double her weight after I got her. she is so darling this tiny, but I do hope she gets bigger so I wont worry quite so much about her.

i think princess Abby whispered to daddy, hey i want my own dog!!! so you got Abby a dog cuz that was her wish, the 10,000 squeeky stuffed animals werent enough for her. So i am thinking this new dog is Abbys pet.

is Abby's "nose pushed in" yet, now that her mommy and daddy have a new baby?
