pet peeves

I was reminded of one of my pet peeves last night when I was watching one of
Amber and Greg's favorite shows "Lost." The pet peeve I am talking about is the way this show and many other shows now do that jiggling around of the camera during certain scenes. I suppose they think this makes the movie more exciting, but ken and I both hate it. It makes me sick literally. I refuse to watch shows that do that. at the very least if I really want to watch something, I will have to close my eyes during all that jiggling around. I think their having to jiggle the camera around to supposedly "make a scene more exciting" is really unprofessional and they have to do that because they don't have a quality movie to begin with, so must resort to that kind of amature tactics! (I would probably have watched "lost" otherwise, but I won't now because of the bad camera work)

I disagree that it is "bad camera work". It is more that they are trying to add to the urgency or panic that the characters are experiencing. When you run away from a bad guy or unknown monster, the scene your eyes portray in regards to your panicked running away isn't smooth and fluid.

Lost is definitely NOT unprofessional or low quality, in my opinion.

You will be missing out on the awesomest show on tv, but I guess that is your choice... :-)
