unprofessional camera works

Concerning unprofessional camera work (see my previous post "pet peeves" and the comments) The jiggling around of a camera during certain scenes is a relatively new tactic. I seem to remember about when it first came out. it was with a terrible horror movie a few years ago called "The blair witch project." The comment was made they do that to make it more realistic or to add to the urgency or panic of the situation. There are many many! classic movies of drama that did not resort to this jiggling tactic and the movies are well wonderful classics!! they are professional works so did not have to resort to this relatively new crummy jiggling tactic!! (think Amber and I will have to agree to disagree, hehe)
