Ken and I called and talked with Cindys doctor today, as we were becoming more and more concerned about all the things happening to cindy. He explained she now has a postpartem hemorage also called "uterine atony" caused because her uterus can not contract like it should because of three factors, the magnesium sulfate they had to give her causes the uterus to soften, thus does not contract like it should, the c-section itself, and another factor i cant remember but may have been the pre-eclampsia itself that she had. Cindy is being given a blood transfusion today. She also is still running a low fever. the lab mistyped the babies blood types and so they are running the test a third time. they originally said the babies were 0 negative and A positive. now they are saying the babies are both O negative. they are running a third test.its neccessary to know since cindy will need another rogam shot if one of them is positive.
