Because of the high winds causing blowing snow, I 80 was closed all last night and is still closed today. Cindy, Kendall and the babies were stranded in Cheyenne. They had friends they could have stayed with in Cheyenne, but since the interstate to our house WAS open they decided to drive the 75 miles more in the high winds and blowing snow to come and stay with US!! I am so happy they did! I so enjoyed seeing them and of course the babies!! Thank you so much Kendall for driving!! I know that was the highest wind you have ever driven in!! The babies are so adorable and so good natured!! I put up my old porta-crib that I still have from when my kids were little and Layla and Aidan slept side by side in it. It was so cute when they first were put in it, they would turn their heads and just look at each other. so adorable. I wish I knew what they were thinking. Cindy got a picture of them together in it. So she will be putting it on her blog. We did manage to get these pictures too.
